We got such a friendly and helpful welcome when we arrived, and the room with bridge view was fabulous. Highly recommended- so much so we booked in for a second night. Will definitely return when we are around the Newcastle area again.

A lovely hotel in a great location with wonderful riverside views. The room was spacious and very comfortable with plenty of amenities (conditioner and body lotion in the bathroom would be good additions). The staff were friendly and helpful. A couple of improvements I would suggest: some additional savoury options on the continental breakfast, and a different layout at breakfast to reduce congestion. Overall a wonderful stay though; I would definitely recommend Malmaison in any city.

It's a,lovely, high class hotel in a,prime position by the Millenium Bridge. Everything was good in the room except a lack of drawers and the air con/heating was dodgy so we had to have a heater . Saturday nights can be noisy outside , so book a high floor if you can. Parking is easy. Breakfast is excellent.

This is a great hotel with good Staff the location on the key side is lovely but it is a walk up to the city Centre or a Q3 bus which is not that frequent or walking to Manors Metro which is quite a distance and not a very pleasant walk

Location was perfect. Overall staff were lovely and helpful. Nice atmosphere in the bar, although the evening menu is limited if you just want something light. Had some issues with house keeping. Replaced 2 large and 2 small towels with one of each. It took 2 days to remedy (I used my packed beach towel). Also the duvet’s insert was 2 feet smaller than the cover in width - minor but annoying when my husband hogs the covers. They fixed this the day I complained about it along with the missing towels but towels were not provided until the next day.
