“There is a mosque near by with loudspeakers. The rooms are fairly soundproof between rooms, but the doors can be heard opening & closing at all hours as the 20-30 yr olds mingle. Bright stylish rooms but the old wood around the communal kitchen sink lets one know that maintenance isn’t a priority. The pool is in front and smaller than pictured. “The room, garden and pool were nice. However, the water was cut off in our villa for hours the first morning, with a slow reply to my message about the problem. So no flushing toilet, couldn't wash hands and no shower. It came on hours later. It was hard to communicate with the staff because the person who could speak English wasn't there. “Hotel staff were so lovely and helpful so this is not a reflection on them at all, but it is located right next to the main road through Uluwatu (even if it only looks a small road)! The balcony doors did not close properly or lock which also let lots of noise in, regularly had only a couple hours of sleep.
