“One the most beautiful hotels that I have been, a real medieval castle in the middle of nowere, with al the 21th century facilities. Amazing!!!”

“Room was incredibly dusty, no heating, vanity mirrors in bathroom didn't work, bath cracked. Staff were friendly and brought us a space heater however this didn't work either. Work up at 4.30am freezing Location is good, very quiet at night”

“First and foremost the property was clean, functional and offered value for money. The staff were friendly and helpful, although our experience of room service was let down by dirty cups being left. We found the hotel lacked character, everything about it was functional and not interesting. This extended to the breakfast, our experience of which was behind not eating supper there. This is not a criticism of the hotel, it is my view. Based on reviews I expected a little more than we got....

“Falta de limpieza. Pocas explicaciones por parte del personal. No nos esperaban, aunque teníamos reserva.”

“We spent the night for a firework display night, the fireworks were a let down, but the hotel, staff and restaurant all made up for it.”

“Excellent and beautiful place, we only spent one night, but we were looking forward to returning. I recommend it.”

“The lady who checked in was so lovely, even took us to our room. Every member of staff asks if you need help finding anything and direct you to were you need to be. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast included in the room stay was 10/10.”

“Every time I travel back north I stay at this place as it's friendly, has what you need and more-aka the restaurant next door and nearby to bigger shops too”

“I have to say that the hotel met absolutely my expectations. The room was comfortable, nice and clean. Furthermore the hotel staff was really nice and friendly. The only negative aspect was the cleaning of the toilet once we were staying in the room. For instance, in 4 nights we had the same towels although, I imagine that they would have solved the problem inmediately if I had notified it. In general, everything was quite good. I strongly recommend it.”

“Superior room very spacious and decent spec.”

“Diddn't use parking or spa but hotel was very convenient for the city centre. Dining room a bit cold. Excellent choice at breakfast and evening meals tasty.”
