Overall this was a good stay. Good location. Good room (though it was small). However the breakfast needs a lot of improvement. The eggs were cold (as in, they came out of a refrigarator...yuck!), the toaster was broken, there was no cream cheese, and limited options compared to others I have had (ie no muffins!). The breakfast area is cramped and enclosed...makes for very uncomfortable interactions with other guests.

Standard cold soulless design. Everything looks very cheap. No character. Just somewhere to crash and have a good night sleep.

The extra $29 amenities fee was not mentioned when the room was booked either on the IHG website or Expedia. This should be included in book as a required fee.

Rooftop lounge is only open until 8. Should be open to adults until at least 11pm. My wife and I had planned on sipping drinks while on the rooftop overlooking the city and were quite disappointed in the fact that it closed so early. The sun was still out. Also the couch in the room was completely stained across and disgusting. The breakfast is packed luster but being in Philadelphia Id hope that you are trying the local places. The hotel Id rate 2 stars with it being an easy 3 if the couch was clean and/or the rooftop was open longer. The hotel was great otherwise, really pretty views and overall good customer experience. Will be trying a different place next time though.
