Shelburne Falls Vacations

This was a very clean and well-looked after property, and the staff went out of their way to check everything was in order.

Noise is the issue. Street noise at all hours (seems they didn’t pay up for sound attenuation with windows or the interior) + people overhead noise (you can hear every single step). The ac fan doesn’t make noise so you can’t “cancel” it out that way and it’s just so close to a busy street you can’t cancel it at all. Pricey for them not to have done a proper renovation to address interior and exterior noise. Oh and no bathroom fan? So odd.

Overall great hotel. Amenities were limited including at the gym. Staff and food were fantastic. My only caveat is the room walls feel a bit too thin (I was able to hear a full conversation happening in the room next door). Overall lovely experience. The hotel store is gorgeous with really unique items. For Harvard business school it’s an ideal Location!
