When you walk into the office it’s very deceiving and looks nice. Once you go around to the back rooms, it’s absolutely disgusting. People were outside doing drugs and dealing them out right in front of my car, absolutely dirty and disgusting. If you have kids, do not even think about staying here. They refused a refund and laughed in my face when I said I was extremely uncomfortable and do not feel safe at all. Did not stay there, do not stay there.

This is my go to place to stay. Its always clean, check in is quick and easy. The staff has always been polite and helpful when something has come up. The price is the best around.

This was good for a quick overnight coming back from a backpacking trip. It was wonderful to have the pool. However, there wasn't anyone to check us in when we arrived and there were a lot of folks just sitting around on balconies smoking. The room had some odd stains on the lampshades and elsewhere.

This is a homeless shelter motel. Great if you're homeless, but not if you are a tourist. The hotel room was below par - it smelled terrible, the wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling, the wood work in the bathroom was chipped and warped, and the carpet was ripped / ruined. I slept the whole night with one eye opened, with so many people loitering in parked cars in front of my room door. At least I did not get bed bugs from the stay.

I did not feel safe here, there was no additional lock for me to lock myself in. The chain lock was broken off. Overall the property did not look like the pictures online.

I have been staying there over the years since teenager with my family. I do love that area, however it has changed quit a bit, random garbage outside and overall it is old and in need of updating. Use of pool is nice but also needs updating as well. The bed was comfortable and shower hot, internet access fine. Breakfast is basic fruit, cereal and coffee, toast. We were told they have bacon and sausage on weekends only. There is overall a different vibe there now.

We had called more than a day in advance to say that we were having a late check-in. When we got to the Colonial at 12 midnight the place was all locked up, nobody in the front office area--all lights off. We called from in front of the facility, but could only leave a message. Had no recourse but to drive another four hours directly at home. We hope we get some form of reimbursement. It caused us to have a very late night and early morning.

Toilet seat was broke so it made it difficult to do your business without some difficulty, asked front desk about laundry facility and was told we had to go into town( miles away) and come to find out a day later there is a laundry facilities on premises 50 yrds from our room!
