The room was substantially larger than most motels provide. It was quiet, bed was comfortable. Location was convenient, easy to find and agreeable. Breakfast was very limited— coffee, tea, toast, bagel. Overall, I would stay there again.

My husband & I were looking for a place to stay that was affordable coming out of state for a family wedding. The check in process was quick & the gentleman was polite. The sign by the front office said Grand Reopening I think due to new management but there are still ALOT of things that need to be taken care of. I can conquer with other reviews that there is definitely a distinct odor in the rooms that needs to be addressed. I believe the rugs need to be ripped up and replaced. The smell is sour moldy smelling. The room overall is outdated and needs major updates. I don't feel like its in a good state to be rented to guests yet. There is peeling paint on the windows that could open but don't have screens so that's a safety issue. The shower is old and chipping, the grout is yucky. A few positives-the linens were clean, the bed was comfy, mini fridge works, TV works. It just seems like most things were just thrown together and not alot of care was given. I realize price wise this place is on the lower end but I would want to be proud of an establishment I'm renting out. Maybe I'm just built differently. Its true what they say you get what you pay for. We would not go back.

The room which we stayed at the motel had a strong oder possibly the smell of "skunk." We checked the pool area and it was completely empty and the hot tub was green. I understand that the motel is under new management and I hope they are able to fix the place up.

This is under new ownership no longer the family owned. It’s cheap and it shows. Bedding was stained on multiple pieces. There were bug carcasses throughout the room. Maintenance of buildings had long ago went to the way side. Had I not been completely exhausted I would’ve just booked some place else and moved on. Two other properties near this one for similar money. Go there! The taco truck was good but wayyy over priced. $15 for street burrito

The room initially assigned had a live roach crawling in the bathroom. Room had horrible smell. Asked for a different room & the new room was smelly as well. Fixtures were old & not well maintained. No continental breakfast was available the next morning. Outside of the motel rooms there was a thick overwhelming smell of weed. Will not be staying there ever again.

There is no breakfast. This hotel is still set up for homeless people after covid and everything was broken. Lights didn't work, the bed was awful and I was seriously worried about the tools in my locked truck. People had disposable grills set up outside their doors and it was just bad.

For the price this was a nice place to stay passing through Brattleboro. Everything was fine until an employee, without knocking, just unlocked our door and walked in at 10:40am and said “Check out”. Someone could have been dressing. We felt very rushed even though checkout was 11am. It took a lot of restraint to not verbally lay into the guy. Just make sure your extra locks are secured.

My husband and I came here for a weekend away. I hadn’t been back in the area and I guess they changed management because it was beautiful back in the day. We had to leave early due to an emergency for our son, we never spent a night there but when I asked if we could be refunded for our second night (I completely understand the first night as we had made it unusable for another guest) the front desk agent told me he would ask his manager and let me know the next day. It’s been 4 days and I’ve received no communication , so I guess I’ll be paying for time not spent there and hospital bills as well.

At check in we discovered new owners having taken over a month previous to our arrival. When inquiring about the pool - closed over the past 6 month due to renovations. The building it was housed in looked like it was falling in on itself. The gym? Also closed. The bar/restaurant advertised on their listing? Also closed and relocated closer to town, according to the receptionist. So we felt it was false advertising and we would’ve never chosen this location. But it only got worse when we arrived to our room. The building was falling apart. The ice machines were unplugged & pulled away from the walls. Once we stepped into our room, the floor felt spongy as if the carpet was holding us up and there was no subfloor. Walked over to the bed and a tiny bug was hopping on the covers. I pulled back the sheets to check for bed bugs and was hoping that was just the one lone bug. Didn’t see anything else, thank heavens. The room smelled musty. The bathroom had black hair on the floor. Due to our circumstances & late check in, we had to simply endure. We checked out by 8am. The breakfast offered in the reception room was cereal, fruit, toast milk & juice. By far, the worst hotel we have been in, hands down.
