Photo "La-Plaine-sur-Mer (Loire-Atlantique) Pêcheries. De nombreuses pêcheries se sont développées le long du littoral du pays de Retz. Principalement dans les communes de Pornic, Les Moutiers-en-Retz, La-Bernerie-en-Retz, Préfailles, La-Plaine-sur-Mer. Ces pêcheries permettent la pratique de la pêche au carrelet, filet carré monté sur une armature, que l'on déscend horizontalement. On peut fixer un appât au centre du carrelet. La capture du poisson se fait en remontant le filet. Le ponton et la cabane étant sur le domaine public maritime, sont soumis à une concession renouvelable tous les 5 ans. De nombreuses pêcheries ont été détruites plors des tempêtes de 1999 et 2010.
