“What a friendly bunch they are at The Old Bell. Clear the new owners and motivated to make this a great spot for all. A truly warm welcome and great chat with the staff; all keen to learn and do things the right way. They really are a credit to the management. Rooms still need a little work, mattress on the bed was not great at all, but everywhere clean and tidy. Would happily stay again when in the area for work.”

“Superb stop off on way home from France. Super clean and large bedroom, very quiet but well located next to pub. Food was lovely and all the staff were beyond helpful. Will 100% stay again.”

“A great friendly and warm place to stay. A basic menu but done EXCEPTIONALLY well. The pie , chips and peas (with copious) amounts of gravy was just gorgeous. A lovely, well kept pint or two, of real ale were also enjoyed. I'd have to say for room 19 , a new mattress is required. The next morning, a GOOD QUALITY English breakfast was consumed with great gusto too. I'd highly recommend!!”
