Ye Olde Ostrich never disappoints and it didn’t this time. This is a staple for me when catching an early flight or needing to leave a rental car when going into London. Top spot, great location, superbly staffed.

Good location close to Heathrow airport. I arrived late at 10.45 pm and could still check into my room and enjoy a pint before the bar closed. Very helpful staff, I left some items behind and Sarah kindly arranged to post them to me to my next address in England by next day delivery. Good breakfast as well.

The building dates to 1107, but has been successfully updated to accommodate today's traveler. Our room was spacious, with a very modern en-suite bathroom. Staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant had a great variety available for both dinner and breakfast and the food was delicious. It was a great place to spend our last night in the UK.

Room was large and very clean, and the bed was comfortable. Food was good and they have a good beer selection. Price was very reasonable and it is in an excellent location for accessing Heathrow. The staff were nice. The only negatives were that the room was very hot (there was no fan) and because we had to have the windows open, it was quite noisy with buses and trucks passing by. Despite that I still slept reasonably well… and I didn’t see or here any ghosts!

This was our second stay at The Ostrich Inn, and it is the perfect place to stay before flying out of Heathrow airport (which is only 5 miles away). The rooms are very clean and comfortable with lots of lovely touches like tea and coffee making supplies, nice toiletries, and a fan for hot weather times. Staff is helpful and friendly. The hotel is full of historic details. We enjoyed pre-dinner drinks out in the garden, and had a great meal in the restaurant. Breakfast the next day was delicious as well. This place is a hidden gem for those who travel through Heathrow!

Chanced upon this place looking to be close to Heathrow Terminal 5, its 10 minutes drive so ideal but the place itself is absolutely wonderful, full of character and lovely staff, great breakfast and good value too. I’m staying again in a week on my return it was that nice.

Despite being a very old character property. The Ostrich Inn was well maintained. Easy parking for even a large vehicle. Had a great fish and chips that was served really quickly. Reasonably priced. Our room was clean with everything we needed. One bedside light was needing maintenance to be fixed and tge flexible shower needed tightening but otherwise all was good. Slept quite well, mattress a little too soft for our liking but all lovely bedding Would stay again.
