Hayfield Vacations

Our room was clean and comfortable. It would be nice to have some hangers to use. There were only 3 hooks on a wall as you enter - no hangers or closet. The lobby and breakfast area were clean. Breakfast options were mini muffins, bagels, toast, waffle maker, plain oatmeal, a couple cereal choices, milk, coffee and yogurt, and bananas. Coffee is always available. We stayed for 3 nights and chose not to have our room cleaned during our stay - left the do not disturb sign out. Overall a pleasant stay. The parking lot was recently redone which was nice. Our room was quiet - we were on the top floor.

So I have a problem with freshness of the room. I clean it and freshen it myself. But room smelled musty, and towels smelled mildewed. I always travel with my own towels so I did not bother to really press the issue. But for that price breakfast should be way better. Taste like boxed food and ultra processed. And freshness need to be top priority along with cleaning. And the pool chlorine was a lot. Sitting in the pool area was alot. It was hot and smelled string of chlorine. Staff was pretty ok. I barely had any encounters outside of checking in, out and asking for throwing out pizza boxes.
