I love the conscience of this for Mayo medical,if you are staying to accompany someone for lengthy appts there is so much to stay busy.Shoppimg ,coffee,relaxing and touring(walking) without even having to use a vehicle.Parking is also great on your own or at the door valet

You can't beat the Kahler for being close to the Mayo Clinic. The rooms have been remodeled and are generally very clean. Some of the bathroom fixtures are dated, but still functional. For a clean room, nice bed and close to Mayo, it's still my choice when I travel to Rochester.

The room was nice, king bed comfy. Rooftop pool and hottub awesome (and handicap accessible). Walking distance to many restaurants and shops. Was a very nice birthday weekend. (Slight problem with some cleanliness of the room that we reported to staff.)

This is an older hotel in downtown Rochester across the street from the main Mayo Clinic campus. It’s connected to Mayo during weekdays by an underground tunnel, so very safe and convenient for those visiting the clinic. There are gift shops and restaurants on the property and valet parking. I found it clean and quiet. I’ll definitely consider staying there again if I have to visit Mayo.

Very convenient to the Mayo Clinic. Older hotel with ambiance, nicely updated to modern standards. The staff is wonderful. The area is in the heart of Rochester convenient to everything. The only issue at the present is that the roads are torn up and being redone. I highly recommend!

Kahler Grand Hotel is a beautiful historic hotel. Very convenient if you have appointments at Mayo. Also very close to great restaurants and shops. We loved the breakfast at Lord Essex Tavern and Grill which is located in the hotel. Hotel was very clean and the staff was very kind and accommodating. My husband and I enjoyed our stay!

Staff was helpful in didecting us to our Mayo appointments. Restaurants are walking distance, we left our car at the parking garage and did not use it at all. Pool and hot tub area were nice. This is a hotel with wonderful location. Beds are also very comfortable and rooms are quiet. We would come again.
