Vacations Close To Mayo Clinic Hospital - Saint Marys Campus

The room we origin were told we’d checked into was already in use so we were moved to another room. Once we got into the room the floors were damp from how humid it was in the room & the one bed was broken, sunk down where your butt would be when laying down to the point that you had to sleep on your back or curled into a fetal position.

The property was an older, but remodeled hotel. Excellent location. It was in the downtown area, near the Mayo Clinic, and right across the road from St. Mary's Hospital. The continental breakfast was ok. The Canadian Honker restaurant next door was very good and reasonably priced. (also delivered to our room.) The room had a reclining chair which was very nice after my shoulder replacement surgery.

This hotel was perfect for what we needed during our stay. We were staying as we had appointments at the Mayo. Shuttle was handy, but also close enough that we could walk as well. There was a lot of construction going on at the hotel and surrounding areas, but never affected our stay. The room was amazing. So nice and clean. Highly recommend staying here.

The hotel was nice and clean, staff were very pleasant, breakfast was a big tasty buffet. The only complaint was the parking garage was very little and barely fit my mid size SUV because of how low the ceiling was, but there is another garage next to the hotel that was actually cheaper. Also, being on the side where all the construction was going on, but I get it they had to start super early because of the heat. Most importantly though it was with walking distance from all of my Mayo appts and several restaurants.

Extremely clean and well maintained property. It feels fresh new and modern just a bit far from the Mayo Clinic if you don’t have a car. The shuttle takes 45 minutes to get there due to stops along the way. But the staff was wonderful! Really good hot breakfast every day and 24/7 freshly ground coffee machines. Refrigerator and microwave in the room. Nice to have a sitting area with a partition separate from the bedroom space.
