Not really a breakfast, gas station muffins and a little fruit. rooms are a bit dated but comfortable. something in the Hallway on the 5th floor was making a pretty loud noise. It seems like the photos used are from the next door Aspen Suites and not the Aspen Select

Traditional continental breakfast, no hot options, which is fine, not complaining. Getting to the property was our only real issue. Hallway lights kept it lighter in our room overnight than we’re used to as well. Staff was friendly and helpful for dinner suggestions.

The Aspen Select appears to be the more average version of the fancier Aspen Suites, which is right next door. Both are directly across the street from St. Mary’s Hospital, which is very convenient. The front desk staff were pleasant, and there is a nice variety for breakfast. What I did not like is that it was very warm on my floor (3rd) and in my room, in mid November. My room stayed at 77° the whole time I was there, which made sleeping difficult, and I think the hallway had to be 85. There was a thermostat in my room, but it was turned to 69°. I inquired at the desk about it and was told they could give me a fan, but they had no way of controlling it because it was a boiler heating system. Other than that, my room was comfortable and clean.
