The strike going on is very disruptive with protestors holding people up from entering sometimes for hours. The hotel could do something to thank people for dealing with that whether a voucher for the casino or small percentage off their room etc.

Great property, small pool for kids but we made sure to go super early to get a swim in

Expectations were already high and Shangri-la met them. We are a family of four, booked a premium room with 2 queen beds on the 16th floor. Exquisite room, beautiful bathroom, all marble with shower and tub with full view of the city. Bedroom area with top to bottom glass window view of the city also and CN tower, beds were comfy. We enjoyed a lobby lounge afternoon meal, appetizer type food at half price, sliders were to die for. We used the hot tub and pool and sauna There are pool bed inclosures with tv's. Looby area was a hang out area with a unique modern fireplace, art and live piano music. There's a nice terrace area on the 3rd floor. Room service was prompt and food was delicious. High end all around and excellent customer service.

Bad entertainment in lounge. In room, computer lighting in bedroom (both pads) do not work. Coffee maker does not work. No power outlets on desk or near desk.

I was traveling to a work conference with my daughter and it was nice to have a sitting area and separate bedroom so she could chat with her friends in the evening after I went to bed. The hotel is showing a few signs of age but the rooms were very nicely furnished and updated. The price was incredible compared to the downtown hotels and we were just a $10US uber driver to downtown where my conference was held - usually 10-15 mins to get there. A real cost savings, safe and quiet location with parking.

Location was great for the hotel. Close to CN Tower, Scotia Bank Arena and Harbour activities as well as a few breweries so that was all good. However the rooms need some maintenance. In mine the shower door handle was very loose and about to come off.. there was one side of a standing shelf unit in the bathroom and some of the blinds were broke throughout. Shower was not as clean as should be with grout stains. So for price they need some maintenance.
