I don’t get out to Oshawa that often as she was not the greatest of cities economically anymore, But it seems this hotel has done its best to keep up with standards and cleanliness, which is perfect so the view is looking out into the city with a bunch of closed businesses around and homeless people walking by. But the worst part was being rudely woken up by a fire alarm and mandatory evacuation first thing in the morning. It turned out to be nothing. We were given the all clear, but that wasn’t very exciting.

Very nice hotel. Friendly staff, very clean. Not much to do around the immediate area. Wendel Clark's restaurant in the hotel has good food. The lobby has a little market to get snacks, etc. Continental breakfast was good. Close walk to the Tribute Communities Centre, if you're going there for an event.
