Excellent location if you're driving and have to be in the Whitby/Oshawa area. Lots of chain restaurants across the street. Breakfast is as expected for a holiday inn express. The breakfast area in the hotel can get crowded quickly. The staff was very friendly and helpful in our interactions.

We love staying here because of the amazing breakfast & the rooms are always nice and clean. Staff are always friendly and we never have a bad time. Only small complaint is that the water pressure in the showers was very low this time!
