“I rarely write reviews about holiday stays but had to do so for our three night stay at Grange Manor. The room was fabulous-luxurious,spotless and so comfortable and the extra finishing touches made it a home from home. Breakfast served every morning in the room was a delight. No noisy dining room nor rush to have table cleared away. All was at our pace which was what we wanted. A peaceful haven in a beautiful setting with the most friendly and helpful staff made this break first class. We...

“Lovely stay here. The room was fantastic, staff helpful and breakfast was amazing. The chauffeur ride into Cartmel was also a great touch. We shall return!”

“Fantastic room what a real gem of a place, the room over exceeded my expectation & the welcome breakfast hamper was.a nice little touch and very appreciated. I’ve stayed in some places around this area and this is now my firm favourite and will definitely be returning in the near future Thanks for a wonderful stay”

“The property has real presence and looks stunning. Its decor is in keeping with the property and looks a bit worn but makes it feel loved. Breakfast was good but we had to wait both days for the food to be topped up as there’s only one waiter trying to do everything. The room was large and bed was comfy. The bathroom was not good no water pressure so water came out very slowly and not very hot. Shower unit was very noisy and no heating for such a big bathroom apart from a towel rail so it was...

“Me and my friends were really looking forward to this weekend away, was very disappointed that first they toke my money from my card when it was pay at property I had to call to find out why? The breakfast food some was finished so we didn’t get some of the things the toaster was broken you had to keep waiting for cups, the surna was broken so was the jacuzzi, the person that makes the room didn’t even bother to re do the room. They tried to change be again for the massage when check out even...

“Lovely quiet location on the edge of Cartmel with good road connections to the tourist areas of the Lakes. The place was spotless and well equipped but they really do only include bedding, towels and loo roll. Whatever else you need make sure you take it with you. It lacked hanging space for clothes in the bedroom and any place to put your cases. We were surprised it was a semi detached building, we could hear a lot of noise, especially doors closing in the attached unit. I would still recommend...

“Clean and comfortable room, very friendly staff and the breakfast was outstanding. Excellent value for money”

“It was a lovely location, a great place for a weekend getaway for couples. ”

“Lovely position and inside rooms were good. The let downs were the outside areas entering the property the steps were grubby and dirty so a bit offputting, also the outside patio area was unusable due to it being overgrown and dirty. INSIDE the only fault was lack of tv information and no visable welcome book in veiw. We found the book just by chance a black book on a black stool in the corner of the kitchen.put it in full veiw”
