Very friendly staff showed us to room and the place was clean and tidy lovely view of Morecambe Bay from the window and the breakfast was buffet style piping hot plenty choice very attentive owner making sure everyone had enough tea and toast brilliant will go there again

We fancied a weekend by the sea - and took in Morecambe Prom parkrun while we were there. The hotel is literally on the promenade, we could see the start of the parkrun from our window. We booked a sea view room which was spacious. Bathroom and bed were clean, which is what we expect, and the bed was comfy. Plenty of towels too. Breakfast was fab, loads of cooked food, nice and hot and tasty. Can’t fault the food at all, there was more than enough. Negatives… the place needs a wee bit of a facelift, chipped paint, bit of staining on the ceilings, etc but for what we paid, where it is and the great breakfast, totally worth it. How much time do you spend in the room anyway? Staff were great too, very friendly and attentive. Would we stay here again? Yes. It’s about a mile walk to the town centre but along a beautiful promenade.

The room was a little small for a double room one side was pyshed up to the wall so getting in and out was a bit of a problem. But for a couple of nights it was fine and the breakfast more than made up for it good choice and help yourself, heard some people complain but no idea what for. All the staff we delt with were all very friendly and helpful so when we need a couple of nights stay happy to go back to the Clifton

The buffet hot breakfast plus cereals, toast and croissant was very good. The view over the bay from the breakfast room was appreciated. We paid for a room with a sea view and it was a good view. The room had a smartTV which not only enabled us to watch live TV but also catch up with programmes we had missed. Our room was on the top floor and was not really big enough for the king size bed that was in it- ok for one night. The hotel has great potential with a bit of TLC and a refurb, not unlike Morecambe itself.

Pleasantly surprised after reading some of the reviews, its more of seafront b & b, then a modern style hotel. Our room & bathroom were on the small side but we didnt mind it as we only staying one night.room was spotless, bedding & towels clean. Enjoyable breakfast & the staff were very friendly
