Loved everything about The Ro. I have stayed before and will definately be back. Slight niggle..the breakfast choices and food excellent but the bacon was so hard I couldn't cut it up! Staff on the front desk were amazing. Very clean, upmarket but comfortable hotel. I will definately be back@

The Hotel was perfectly based for the lake. Plenty of parking on arrival. The staff were very friendly especially Fred. We sat outside and struggled to open an umbrella. Within 5 minutes a maintenance man appeared from nowhere and fixed the umbrella, really helpful. The rooms were modern with clean bathrooms.

This is a fine old achool hotel, with large clean rooms, and a friendly staff. The reception rooms and bar are nice, but while we were, were totally overrun by a wedding party. The restaurant is okay. It is adjacent tobthe reception and the dinner is acceptable, but certainly not remarkable. Everything was a little overdone. The worst was the wedding, that had a performer signing full blast in the bar, and which was so loud the waiter could barely take our dinner order. It was extremely intrusive for all the other guests. The breakfast here is also very good. Suggest going to an outside restaurant if the hotel is booked out for a private event.

Excellent accessible room. Lots of space for wheelchairs, very relaxed atmosphere. Close to main street in Bowness but at the top of a very steep hill. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful location, views are stunning on the outside terrace, rooms are lovely whilst small has all you need although would suggest a mirror on the dressing table. Breakfast was lovely, drinks very reasonably priced with a good selection and lovely welcoming staff.
