“Just had an outstanding stay at Bel and The Dragon. Everything was 5 stars. The pub/restaurant atmosphere was fab and the quality of the food was excellent - truly delicious. The rooms were clean and airy, and the bathroom with the roll-top bath was lovely. The complementary tea and coffee, whiskey and sloe gin were all a great addition. Every single member of staff was polite and helpful and the service was outstanding. What a fabulous stay! Will be back!”

“Top quality food. Steak & Ale pie to die for and excellent fish & chips. Great breakfast with quality produce. Brilliant selection of ales. Old fashioned English Inn with a lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Tidy room with a modern en-suite shower room. Bed not to our liking but that's very much a personal choice. In a very quiet location with no shops nearby but would recommend for an overnight stay.”

“We loved our stay at Rose and Crown! The staff were so friendly. Our room had so much character, and was bigger than we would have expected. It was quite comfortable and surprisingly quiet (we were there midweek on a slightly rainy day). We also ate at the pub and really enjoyed our meal. We would stay again!”

“The experience was absolutely lovely and had many little touches that made it more unique like the sloe gin in our room and the quiet lounge which we enjoyed a complementary whiskey in. The breakfast was the best we have had and we have stayed in many hotels! The only reason I haven’t given this a full 5 stars on the service was for 1 reason only and that was when we ordered our drinks for dinner it took about 10-15 mins to arrive and there was only 8 of us in the restaurant but apart from that...
