“Fellpack House has been a standout on our holiday so far. The room was really nice. The staff were super efficient and helpful. The breakfast was yummy. We really enjoyed sitting in the lounge looking out at the trees and mountains having a few glasses of wine after a long day exploring.”

“Friendly helpful staff, great location and wonderful breakfast”

“The B&B was in a good central location with buses stopping just outside if you needed one. It was about 20 minutes walk into Bowness at a steady pace and 10 minutes walk into Bowness. At first we thought it was a quiet place to stay and the area was. Unfortunately not inside, the noise from the room above us was continuous, sounded like elephants stomping around, from about 7am and until up to 11.00pm. It was difficult to relax at times. “Lovely clean room. Staff very friendly and informative about local attractions. Good choice of breakfast. Plenty of parking.”

“The whole experience was amazing, all of staff where brilliant and relaxed. The food for breakfast was exactly what you wanted, the room was clean and big enough for 4 and the hot tub was clean, warm and natural. I cannot imagine us not going back.”

“Bed and pillows very comfortable, room tastefully decorated and clean. Stairs upto bedrooms. Parking at rear. Lovely breakfast and hand made starter with fresh fruits and granola/ yogurt.”

“The fell rooms was an absolutely stunning place to stay in Ambleside. The rooms were incredible, so clean and well thought out. The little extras such as biscuits, a fan in the room and heated towel rails made such a positive difference in our experience. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, and we really enjoyed our stay here.”

“Pros - good location. Short walk into town. Room clean, modern & spacious. Self check in with good clear instruction prior to arrival. Cons - Car park full so had to pay for parking on car park next door. No plates at breakfast only cardboard dishes which made it difficult to butter toast as the bread wouldn't fit in the dish. Would definately stay here again though & just maybe arrive earlier to get a parking space.”
