“We only ended up staying for one night of the two we booked. This was due to work commitments not the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very tasty. Before we left we had a meal in the restaurant. The food was some of the best we’ve had in a while. We would definitely stay there again.”

“The hotel is spotlessly clean, staff very friendly and give good advice of the area. It is a lovely walk into the town too. The food was exceptional everything of choice you could possibly wish for.”

“A superb stay. Very friendly. Lovely property in the heart of the town.”

“Perfect overnight and welcoming stay and fabulous breakfast”

“Hotel correcto”

“I very rarely post a bad review; I normally don't post a review at all if I haven't liked it. However, we booked The Croft based on the number of 5* reviews it had. On a positive, the location of this B&B is perfect - really close to the High Street. However, we've stayed in a lot of places, both higher and lower end, depending on our requirements, and I'm sorry to say that this is probably one of the worst places we've stayed at. “Perfecto”

“Staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. Breakfast was good. Sadly Expedia does not include information about the live music at the Malthouse, so we were unprepared for the volume in our room immediately above the music which went on until about 12.30a.m. Not surprisingly, this rather spoiled our otherwise enjoyable stay.”

“Lovely gardens and good quality breakfast, cooked to order using local ingredients.”

“Nice place but the room I had was next door to a nightclub. Friday and Saturday night were really noisy. So much so that I asked to move rooms on the Saturday. To be fair this was not a problem for the staff who accommodated my request. Other than the noise late at night, no issues.”

“Great host, clean rooms all facilities that are required, great breakfast.”
