Excellent location two minutes walk from the Iron Bridge. The pub does excellent food also. Our room was clean, comfortable and overlooked the river. Absolutely stunning, would love to visit again!

Lovely stay

Was in Ironbridge for the regatta and The Swan is in a perfect location. Friendly staff, nice breakfast (taken at Malt House 100m up road). Live music on Saturday and good food as well

It was our first time in The Swan but wont be our last. Rooms were clean comfortable. Good value for money. Breakfast was in the sister hotel a short walk down the street and was superb. Will definitely come back.

Cosy room at an excellent price

Great stay. Room was clean, cosy, old with beams. It’s an old building so creaky floorboards and little corridors/stairs. A small amount of parking available. Breakfast was good and served at a pub/hotel a couple of doors down. Excellent value for the price and would absolutely stay again

Excellent stay in Ironbridge, with the property in a great location with on site parking. Breakfast included in the price was outstanding and we even ate at the smokehouse for dinner, which was very tasty. Nice view of the river out the room window. Only downside was the low beams and ceilings around the rooms but only an issue as I’m quite tall.

Room was clean and tidy. Lighting wasn't brilliant, eco friendly bulbs = poor lighting. Food and service were excellent. Room was looking out over the river Severn.

An interesting pub with decent food, ideally situated for the iron bridge 10 mins walk away, and the museums . My room was comfortable and warm enough given the -5c outside. it had a part glass floor with industrial archeology visible through it.

Our second stay and would come back but downside is no shower and the bathroom was dated and sink full of hairs which wasn’t pleasant. The lighting in our room was poor. An extra lamp maybe by the mirror so you can see what you’re doing would be helpful. The service and staff were excellent. Dining was really good too. Lovely restaurant space. Breakfast is at the neighbouring Malthouse. Whilst food was good service was very poor, the tea/coffee facilities were dreadful. Had to ask for clean cups ( no saucers),only used teaspoons, this whole area looked unclean and let the whole stay down. It really wouldn’t take much to rectify this. Our last stay breakfast was lovely, waitress service, clean and had no complaints.

I have previously stayed at this property a couple of years ago. Arriving in the room the sky lite windows were all open allowing all dandelion seeds to settle on the surface of the beds . Carpet not vaccines and spiders and cobwebs everywhere . Not had this previously . Breakfast chaotic at the Malthouse but staff were fabulous and the breakfast was fantastic . Homemade pancakes are very tasty. Booked this properlty for next year for Iron Bridge 1940’s weekend so really hope there is an improvement .

We are travelling from city to city. It is what we call a "tent room". There are LOTS OF STAIRS and corridors to get to the rooms. We were only there for one night, has good showers and beds, the breakfast was included and good (it was in a sister hotel). The neighbourhood had a variety of restaurants. We chose the The Malthouse restaurant which was great!!! We also had the included breakfast there. It is in Historic Ironbridge - we were able to walk to the bridge and take photos under various sunlight conditions. It is across the street from the free Museum of The Gorge which tells of the flooding in the town. The COOP grocery store is also close by and it is a short drive to all the Ironbridge sites. The parking can be a challenge if you are late getting there. We would go again for one night, not many nights.

I think there is a special place in hell for hotel owners who chose to play loud gigs without having noise isolation in the rooms. My room was shaking (at 22:09) when I came down to ask when this cacophony will end I had to put fingers in my ears. Not sure why the dude who was playing needed it so loud, maybe he thought he was in Wembley arena or something. Other cons: cups in my room wasn't clean and toilet flush didn't work properly. Oh, and car park is almost always full (there were instances when we couldn't park there). Pros: very nice breakfast and nice friendly staff

Maybe give a warning that because of the building’s age, there are many steps to negotiate. Challenging for those with mobility problems. Crazily long wait for dinner to be served. It is obviously a very popular restaurant but a wait of over an hour to be served is not good. And a couple near us waited even longer! Nice clean en suite bathroom, with a proper bath but a , cracked washbasin and water not hot. Fortunately after boiling the supplied kettle six times and adding it to the bath, it was ok. Wonderfully comfortable bed, puts many a more expensive place to shame. Very good breakfast, everything you could possibly want.

The staff was very friendly and kind. The beds were comfortable. I would add more attention to cleaning bathrooms as the bath was a little bit dirty. Also dishes at breakfast were dirty ( mugs, milk jar etc) . The breakfast was really good , nicely presented

We have previously stayed up in room 8 at the top of the property where it has been a lot quieter . This stay we were facing the outside of the seating area where we were not able to sleep because of chatting till 02-30 . This was on the Friday night 22/5/26. Bathroom not cleaned properly scum marks in bath and sink. Bath took along time to drain after a shower and all dirty particles in bath after eventually draining . I like the Swan Tap but was disappointed this time .
