“The location was excellent and the building had character. The room size was adequate but the bed was squeaky. Breakfast offered a good range but there was no cereal. Staff were efficient, pleasant and helpful.”

“I will just say that I found blood stains on my bed linen and duvet cover. Also the room smells unbelievably terrible, even worse than the bathroom, to the point that I have to leave the window open throughout the night. “The room and reception/ common areas were all very clean. I had a single room on the top floor and it was a good size for one person with plenty of cubboard space for clothes storage. The staff were all friendly. I was always able to get parking right outside the property. The B&B is a very short walk from the beach and about 1/2 mile to the pier. I was very happy with my stay here.”

“There were some lovely touches about the general accommodation such as pretty chandeliers, nice artwork and grand mirrors. We were in room 6 which was advertised as lacking natural light, this was fine, but the decor was so dark and such a dull lightbulb, it made the room feel so dingy. There was no plug point near the mirror, so doing hair was difficult. On the plus side the bed was very comfortable and there was a lovely big fan in the room to help combat the heat. “Where to start? Adri and The New England were amazing! Such a welcoming and gracious host - always remembering our names and so helpful. Breakfasts were amazing and we felt so at home. Adri even volunteered to do some laundry for us!! It was the best stay of our 3 week Ireland dnd UK vacation.”
