1. Bexlet

Bexhill-on-Sea

“The property was absolutely fine as a base. Easily walkable to the shops and the seafront. The parking is not great around the area. There is pay and display parking nearby but on-street parking was limited. The host replied quickly to any messages I sent and was helpful. The only negative I have is that the resident upstairs, above the property, was quite noisy when moving around in the night time.”

“Lovely accommodation. Bed was comfortable. The annexe was quiet. It had everything you could want. Heating was welcomed too. Host was lovely. However, on listing there was no mention that to access the property there were steps. The choice was to go through a gate and walk down seven steps or walk down the entire length of the garden which was sloped downwards towards the property and still go down two steps. “Lovely apartment. Spotlessly clean, light and bright. Kitchen seemed well equipped, although we only really used the kettle and mugs as only a short stay. Other reviews are right in that the bed in the main bedroom at the back feels quite rickety and the mattress is soft, but didn't stop us from having a good night's sleep!! We were there for Storm Eunice and power outage across Hastings from 10am til 4pm and shops/attractions etc all shut. Bit of a shame, but at least we had a great vantage...
