“Bed is very hard, uncomfortable to sleep Room service is expensive, paid 38 quid , asked to swap chips for potato and she still charged me extra, so attention to detail is poor, when you paying so much. Otherwise its a very nice hotel, rooms are spacious and aircon. Also this occasion I had a view of inside, didn't like that at all, if you psychic high prices for a room, then at least let me see outside”

“No aircon. Very hot room. Got a fan but pretty poor for an expensive Spa resort. No late checkout for Gold member... 2 hours 20 pounds. All in all OK but a little disappointed ”

“A lovely little pub ideally situated for walkers, cyclists and horse riders but breakfast is not served until 9am although it is advertised in the room as 8 to 10am. As like us most people holidaying for this reason want to be up early and out. We had a room for three adults but the hospitality tray was set for two people and as the room was not cleaned or beds made during our stay we only had one t bag left for the second morning.”

“The room (especially the bathroom) was tired and needs a refurb. Room could have done with a mini fridge and hotel would have benefited from a daytime shop selling sandwiches, drinks and such. Spa was good and swimming pool warm though it had a section taped off which was not ideal. Breakfast could have been better, a decent coffee machine offering Lattes, Americano etc rather than flasks of dreadful coffee. Sausages not best quality We enjoyed the stay but overall hotel needs a revamp.”
