“This is an old style cottage in a rural setting, which does'nt have the best access, however once there the location is surrounded by woodland and fields which are pleasant. The Lady of the house is a charming individual who was welcoming. The breakfast catered for dietary needs and was wholesome. In general a comfortable stay with no frills, but enjoyable none the less. We would use Bridge Cottage again if we visited the area.”

“The staff are very helpful and friendly. The food and beer is good and great value. Parking is a bit tight, so arrive early if you are checking in! If you want to eat, make sure you reserve a table. We found out the hard way on Saturday lunchtime that you can't always get a meal, even if you are a resident. Other than that, it's a good place to stay. It's quiet at night due to the location and the fact that the bar isn't open until late.”

“Lovely old and fascinating English house in a beautiful setting, near to lots of interesting places. We enjoyed the breakfast which was efficiently served in a characterful room. Our bedroom was comfortable. We were disturbed by mosquitoes in the night and I was bitten. We had to close the windows but found a fan which helped cool us down and deterred the mosquitoes further. “Overall a good stay. But AC off upon arrival and it took 7 hours before the temperature was bearable to sleep (5 pm arrival). Nice atmosphere at the pub with great food and service.”
