“Angel Inn is close to the centre of Petworth, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and spacious, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom had a large modern bath and separate shower and everything was very clean. We appreciated the teapot in the room and selection of teas, also the complimentary flapjack. We ate in the restaurant area of the inn and had an excellent meal. ”

“This is an old style cottage in a rural setting, which does'nt have the best access, however once there the location is surrounded by woodland and fields which are pleasant. The Lady of the house is a charming individual who was welcoming. The breakfast catered for dietary needs and was wholesome. In general a comfortable stay with no frills, but enjoyable none the less. We would use Bridge Cottage again if we visited the area.”

“Requested accessible room - it was so far from the main part of the hotel we needed to drive and use a fire exit. In the bathroom the shower seat was rusted and broken, bathroom old, not maintained and dirty. The pillows stank and we needed to request new (which were equally as awful). Bedding cheap and musty. The part of the hotel we staid in is obviously mothballed for most of the year unless there is a big event nearby when they must open it and sell rooms. We were there for Goodwood which...
