"Old and well used property. Understaffed. The girl working in the front desk also had to work the convenience store so she had to run back-and-forth. The breakfast in the morning wasn’t very good as far as hotel breakfast bars go"

"The staff was amazing and upgraded our room because our teenage daughter weren't comfortable in the bunk beds made for smaller children. They had no problem accommodating us which made our stay and experience much better. It is nice to stay at a hotel that has great customer service and wants to make their customers comfortable and happy. This is not always the case anymore for some hotel chains. Thank you so much for your great service and caring about the comfort of your customers. "

"The pool towels could of had a better location and the breakfast was very basic. I enjoyed having the river behind the hotel and the room was great."

"Had a wonderful night staying at the Douglas Fir. Rooms were big and clean and the hotel was quiet. Only wish is that the pool was open in the morning so we could have gone for a swim before leaving! But the kids play one made up for the pool not being open! "

"Went to check in, waited 40 mins to get checked in, room was ok, had to go back down to the front desk every day to get a fresh towel and toilet paper. "
