This staff is nearly beautiful about it was a beautiful hotel. I will definitely get the golden nugget every time I come back to Vegas if you want experience is awesome everything about the hotel. I definitely recommend and I’m very picky and very particular but this one I give a 20 ounce one.

Great pool area. Rooms are clean. Be sure to ask for housekeeping the day before if you plan on sleeping in. Freemont can be wild but it is safe. Local store can save you money on alcohol. Good food. Evel pizza tacos and Miches are not far. Overall good experience. Would recommend this over the strip if your looking for a local Vegas feel

We stayed in the rush tower. We upgraded our room for a little more money and it was definitely worth it. There were 2 tvs but one didn’t work. The last day of our stay we didn’t get our towels and washcloths replaced so we didn’t have any clean washcloths the last day. Overall I had a great time and will stay again.

Needs more help for check in for those who didn't use electronics can only check in by kosiko and if you have problems only one staff member to help so long wait. Had to upgrade room next day and they not only charged me for the room upgrade which is fine as we are upgrading but charged me again for the resort fee which I had already pd. I will not be staying there again. The restaurants, pools and casino though we're really nice

The check in and out was easy. The building and rooms pretty used and run down, no refrigerator or microwave. Aquarium was being repaired so that was disappointing since that was a big part of why we chose GN. The upstairs adult pool did not have any music. You could bring your own speaker, but had to keep the music volume low. So kinda anticlimactic. The Mexican restaurant was very good and service 10 out of 10.

Everything was great! Very helpful and friendly staff. Anywhere from the pool to the restaurants and casino to registration. We went to CJs for breakfast and for a special night out we went to Chart House. Both have excellent service and great food. Front desk check in and check out was a breeze. Always had staff available. The slide was being worked on so the sharks were not there. Disappointing but understandable. This was listed on their website so we knew it in advance. We did not have housekeeping for three days so they did a wellness check! I only have one recommendation. For your elderly patrons, it would be nice to have a few benches in the LONG hallways.

We had a nice, quiet stay in the Carson Tower. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. There are signs that these rooms are older. Rust on the chrome in the shower, paint peeling on the bathroom light etc. Nothing to alarming but if you're picky, choose one of the newer towers. We stayed 4 nights and there were pieces of crackers in the hallway the whole time. Check-in is now done on computers with one person helping people on the 5 or 6 screens. I suppose it is a sign of the times but some of us old folks are technically challenged. We needed help thru the whole process with early check-in and room up-grade questions etc. With the added rooms at GN, the casino and other areas are crowded. The casino really needs to expand and make more room for people to move around IMO. They have a restaurant we ate at several times. Always great food but a bit pricey like most LV restaurants. The shark tank is empty while being renovated but the pool area was always being enjoyed by many.

Booked a "luxury double queen" room, paid for early check in only to be met with a sauna of a room with 2 full size beds instead. Called down to get a roll away bed but learned that was not an option anymore. Thought we would just deal with it, turned the ac down and went out thinking it just needed to cool down. Even after the maintenance guy cleaned the filters, it didn't fully cool down. It took until 4:00 the next day to get a new room. Plus the shark slide was under maintenance. After 6 stays at the GN, I think this will be my last trip. The room rate you see is l ends up being double by the end and there's nothing luxury about the rooms. The staff were friendly at least.
