“The room needs a lot of maintenance. The door is swollen and almost impossible to open, close and lock. The one window needs to be replaced. The lamp light had to be replaced, as well as the TV. The amenities in the bathroom were extremely sparse. There were no facial tissues. The patio was full of weeds. Breakfast was the best meal. All the staff were very nice and provided excellent service”

“This property is immaculate. The garden was lovely and offers shade and sun. The owner is such a nice gentleman and cannot do enough for the guests. My bedroom was large and comfortable. The shower in the bath was powerful and it makes such a great change to be provided with large bath towels. The bed was very comfy. The breakfast was great with lots of variety! Fresh fruit and juice as well as a choices of cooked options. Id stay here again in a heartbeat.”

The staff were lovely and the 'Hotel' was conveniently close to the ferry and close to the City centre The staff were great, everywhere was clean and the ‘free’ breakfast was great. “This is an old style cottage in a rural setting, which does'nt have the best access, however once there the location is surrounded by woodland and fields which are pleasant. The Lady of the house is a charming individual who was welcoming. The breakfast catered for dietary needs and was wholesome. In general a comfortable stay with no frills, but enjoyable none the less. We would use Bridge Cottage again if we visited the area.”
