“The room was quite basic but clean and comfortable. Good shower. The cooked breakfast was particularly good.”

“Room was clean, and windows were excellently glazed to prevent any traffic noise from the streets. Very convenient with the bus stop right outside to get to the ferry as well as Newport/anywhere else on the isle. Osbourne house right across the street. food options were limited around the pub, but the floating bridge to Cowes conveniently down the road by either a 20 min walk or the bus.”

“Angel Inn is close to the centre of Petworth, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and spacious, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom had a large modern bath and separate shower and everything was very clean. We appreciated the teapot in the room and selection of teas, also the complimentary flapjack. We ate in the restaurant area of the inn and had an excellent meal. ”

“Lovely property but hard to keep the gardens at their best with the current drought in Hampshire. Our room #3 was beautiful, good shower and bathroom, very comfortable bed. The outdoor seating area could use a clean up around the the apple tree but no doubt hard to do given the hot summer weather. The fish and chips was terrible. The full English breakfast was good. “Very clean room and super friendly staff. Nice family-run little inn with all the amenities that I needed. The breakfast was also very delightful. I really enjoyedy stay at this inn.”

“The staff were helpful as we arrived & departed early and allowed us to leave our bags in the office. The bedroom was pretty modern and well kitted out but the bathroom was rather tired and needs updating. They have live music till late in a Friday & Saturday night which didn’t bother us but just an FYI. Overall good experience & would recommend.”
