First impression was a rather dated place. But free car park and nice welcome and quick check in with details about my stay. The room looked dated but clean and comfortable. Had four good night sleep, the shower was good and 4 lovely breakfasts. For the money I paid I was well pleased with my stay. I would happily stay again if I was there :)

There is no handicap ramp or lift to access the rooms. This was not mentioned in the website description. And there is no staff to help moving baggage upstairs using the staircase. Food in the bar is good. But rug in the hallway is dangerous to precipitate a fall.

The meals, both breakfast and dinner, were very good and reasonably priced. The staff were very helpful and friendly. There is ample free parking at the back of the hotel for registered guests. The decor is a little tired and there are quite a few stairs to the upper floors. Overall, we had a good stay.

A very convenient base for a short break visiting family and friends, and for business meetings in south east Hampshire. Excellent location close to motorway and rail network. Staff helpful, parking facilities great. The hotel is in need of some modernisation but the rooms and facilities were clean. Very good value for money.
