There were two restaurants near one Greek and one Latin American we tried the latter and it was good, the Greek one was closed Monday. Staff were welcoming, small family run hotel so personal. Nice bar area. Breakfast was included (continental) but they did offer boiled eggs or bacon bap or sausage bap in the morning.

Really warm welcome and chat with Mary - an absolute superstar who helped check us in, even though she had finished her shift! Our room was stylish and comfortable. Breakfast was just right with a variety of fruit, cereals, and breakfast baps. We will absolutely return.

This is the review that I really dit want to do. The staff were lovely and the 'Hotel' was conveniently close to the ferry and close to the City centre The staff were great, everywhere was clean and the ‘free’ breakfast was great. The issue with this property is basic maintenance. The shower was right next to the toilet where the water went straight onto the floor. The shower was very weak and took a long time to hear up. Even though there was a slight slope you would still get water around the toilet making it a safety issue. We were in room 6 which is at the top of the ‘house’ yes it’s more like a B & B than a hotel. The lovely light which was a feature in the room didn’t work. The blinds were useless at keeping the light out and there was no blind in the bathroom. As we were staying during hot and sunny weather the light from the window shone through. We had to wait 10 minutes between flushes on the toilet because that’s how long it took to refill. We were told when we arrived that as the hotel was listed there was no air conditioning. Fair enough but be honest and put it on the hotel information so guests can make an informed decision. it was over 30 degrees and we were provided with a large fan which we were told that we could fill with ice. Needless to say the room never really cooled down. Even the cup mats were wobbly because they hadn’t been replaced.

Great boutique hotel.

The staff were really friendly, the bar area and bedroom were beautifully decorated and the hotel had a lovely feel about it. The bed was super comfortable, and the breakfast was an added bonus. Would definitely stay again.

Wonderfully polite and helpful staff, the ladies providing the breakfast were lovely and the rooms were kept to a high standard. The room was slightly chilly. It soon warmed up when the heating kicked in. The access codes for doors instead of keys was great.

We had a deluxe room which was clean and spacious. Facilities in the room were very good and included a good size wardrobe, full length mirror, toiletries and kettle with tea, coffee and biscuits. Quiet location. There is a bus stop right outside the premises and is within walking distance of a retail outlet. Helpful staff.
