The bathroom was a bit dated but well maintained. There was Nice hot water with decent pressure! My pet peeve when traveling is having to buy water (bottled for $10 for 2 ) and no option of refill water bottle station or even a cup in the room. That is beyond cheap and bad for the environment yet always the claim that you should reuse your towel for the environment! Seems only when you cannot monetize it dies your environmental commitment kick in. Staff was very helpful.

Great location in a walkable community. Staff were very friendly. The room is very large and well furnished. We wish we had more time stay!

Location is perfect, price is perfect, rooms and corridors were clean. However, this is not a hotel, please don’t book if you are expecting a hotel. The self check is not easy and you have to pay an extra $200 Canadian dollars to get access to the check in details. This amount is refunded only after they check that the remote controls are in the room( not sure what the obsession with remote controls is but no one is going to steal remote controls!). The phone number says it’s for WhatsApp but no one seems to check it, and l don’t think the staff know that they have WhatsApp. There were rats in the room, when we got there ( we have video evidence) it took us almost all night to get the rats out of the room as they kept hiding. You have to pay about $40 per day if you want house keeping and every other service is chargeable. The shower didn’t drain and if you run the water for more than 3 mins it over flows out of the cubicle. Which made it really uncomfortable to shower. If you are an adult over 21 ( or children) l wouldn’t recommend these rooms to save your dignity from the embarrassment of hearing all the sexual sounds and screaming in the other rooms. And there is no lift but 3 floors.

This was a mixed experience. We visited the hotel first to ask to see one of the suites. The young woman at the front desk said we could not visit any suites because it was 3:30 p.m., every suite was already occupied by a guest, and all those guests had already checked in. I asked to speak with a manager, and the manager was unwilling to get up from behind the desk and come out and speak with us. In fact, there were five suites showing as available on Expedia and we booked one of them, so that was a complete fabrication. I'm not used to hotel staff deliberately lying to guests. We only needed one bed, but all the suites available had two queen beds, but there was no actual sitting area. No sofa, no easy chairs. Awkward. One of the main reasons we booked a suite rather than a hotel room somewhere else was because there was a kitchen. However, there is absolutely nothing provided in the kitchen but a coffee maker. No plates, no glasses, no pots and pans, no kitchen towels, no paper towels no silverware. You effectively can't use this kitchen unless you bring all of your kitchen stuff with you or go buy it somewhere, which is not practical for a stay of one week or less. I would likely not choose to stay here again, particularly because of the unfriendly atmosphere of the hotel desk staff and the unwillingness of the on-site manager to communicate.
