This was a great location for the falls. We had an excellent view from our room. The pool, and gym was a nice added benefit. I would stay here again, but I would not pay to park here. It was $50 a night and we could have used the lot across the street for a lot less.

Can not rate this hotel because when we arrived, there had been some kind of issue with our booking, so they moved us to a different hotel. The upside, they put us in the Hilton, 4 star hotel, on the 36th floor with an absolutely heavenly view of the falls! I will say the Hilton was a 20/10 for me! It was a beautiful hotel, with all of the amenities and very walkable to everything!

This vacation was perfect. Love the fact that the elevator car that takes you from the top of the street where we were staying took us right down to the main falls area for $4 each. That elevator was directly behind the hotel a 2 min walk. Mohamed was amazing at front desk. He was very helpful gave us a great room. Paying for parking SUCKS but APPARENTLY all hotels does that in the area? The pick of restaurants in the area are super great. We will come back again! Thank you Mohamed happy pride!

We had a Fallsview King room. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The only thing I missed was having a bathroom sink with counter space. This room only had a pedestal so there was no room for toiletry items. This is an older hotel so nothing fancy but it was great for our stay, close to walk to everything we wanted to do. Could use a hospitality area on the main floor. We saw several families trying to eat breakfast or lunch in the lobby area which really isn’t designed for that

The location was incredible! The bed was comfortable and the room was nice. The amenities were not good at all. The fitness center was pathetic and you had to walk through the pool area to get to it. There was no restaurant and there was no way to fill a water bottle. There was a coffee machine in the lobby but no quick fill or water dispensary on hand for drinking water. This is a basic requirement and one that should not be too hard to offer.

View from room was great. Internet was very slow. TV shows buffered multiple times during shows. Check in was terrible! The desk agent stopped our check in twice to talk to previous guests who jumped in front of us at desk to add things to their lodging. The hotel canceled our reservation as we were landing in Toronto due to plumbing issues at the hotel so we're unable to provide any comment on the hotel. They moved our reservation to a neighbouring hotel stating we were getting a similar room which was not the case. All that being said , the Hilton was a fine change of venue and the room did provide a good view of the American falls and staff were great!!!

I loved the observatory on the 14th floor, awesome view of the falls. The hotel room was pretty good for the price, jacuzzi looked clean and worked amazing with a nice towel layout. Concierge and check-in booth staff we're great! I will pick on one thing in particular, room cleanliness... found an expired loaf of bread in the fridge, the couch was dirty, candy wrapper on the floor, sink could have been a bit more clean and some stains on the bathroom ceiling / wallpaper around the room. It looked like other than cleaning and changing the sheets and sanitizing there wasn't much action taken towards presentation... mattress could have been in better shape, a bottle of the complimentary soap was empty... (main reasons for not giving it a 4 or 5 star review)

Honestly this review will be a bit pointless. We were moved from the Oakes to the Hilton across the street because of an issue with our room. I can say, even from the second floor the view of the river was great. We were in an amazing location, a 45 second walk from the tram to the falls, many residents in the area and the casino entrance in the back garden. The staff were so kind and accommodating as well as apologetic when there was an issue with the room. I can’t speak for the quality of the other room but ours was in rough shape. From the images online it almost looked as if we were booked in an unrenovated room. The decor was completely different, there was no fitted sheet on the bed and overall the room was not very clean. We were informed immediately this was a hotel booking error and we were moved within the hour. 10/10 us timer service the staff were amazing, just unfortunate the room we were booked in.

Great location from this hotel, that is all. Overall extremely overpriced for what you get. Paid $400 per night for the “Riverview” room on the 8th floor, not worth it. No thermostat, the A/C & heater is decades old, there is a door the conjoins the room next to you which I haven’t seen since the 90s, the tv is a tiny old 32”inch, and there was no microwave. My 2026 truck received damage from another guest that occurred in their small locked parking lot ($50 per night) and the Manager did nothing other than to advise me to call the local authorities for them to handle. With this occurring, not offering at the very least free parking to help accommodate since it happened on their property with active cameras. I think a fair value for this hotel would be at most $200 per night. If it was more modern and up to date, then I could see a fair pricing being higher. Next trip we will not be staying here.

The room was clean and relatively quiet. I thought the firm bed was quite comfortable, too. For "breakfast", there was free coffee or tea. Not a big issue, with Applebee's serving breakfast right next door. It was a shock to pay $50 Canadian extra per night to park, but the hotel allows in-and-out. Similarly priced parking lots did not offer that. Not the hotel's fault, but cell phone service is really iffy around Niagara Falls, so I was hoping for a solid wifi signal in the hotel. It worked for a short while and then wouldn't connect for the rest of our stay ("too many networks are logged in"). It may have been a blessing, but we couldn't seem to get the TV to give us any news channels ("no signal"). All in all, we enjoyed the property and our stay, and we got to watch the fireworks from our room! You might suffer sticker shock. We exchanged $400 US and got $540 CAN, but the exchange rate is across the boards. For example, a prime rib dinner at The Keg was priced at $55 CAN. Delicious meal, but El Cheapo thought it was expensive. Parking at Clifton Hill was $30, and that was cheaper than the $30-60 near the hotels. It was a pleasant trip, and we're already talking about next year.
