Decided on this property for the easy access to and from YVR. Of course, with the proximity to the airport, there are jets flying very low overhead. The view is good, but other than the casino and associated eateries, there is very little around. The pool area is kid-friendly - great if that’s what you want, not so if it isn’t

I had a very short stay due to a late flight arrival and early departure, so I didn’t take advantage of the many hotel amenities. The room itself was very spacious and clean. My only complaints were the tiny bathroom vanity and the lack of places to plug in and recharge devices. This hotel is very handy for airport use, as it is connected to the Canada Line train.

The staff are great. It’s just the facility fee they charge that you find out about after you book and don’t use or even know about. AND as I was informed at least twice before my stay that they will begin charging guests an extra percentage that use certain credit cards. Not my cup of tea.
