I booked this hotel specifically for the plunge pool. It's a beautiful property with beautiful views. It is secluded. The room and pools were clean. The selection of food was ok. I did order the lobster our last night (for an extra charge) which was delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful. We also booked a couples massage. That was nice and relaxing. However, the resort ran out of vodka twice during our stay. This is the only alcohol my husband drinks. Which was disappointing for him. The rooms however clean and nice could use some upgrades to the sinks and shower. Our shower drain was broke off and the corners were sharp. Also the patio is slippery when wet. Be carful getting out the pool. I'm not sure how you get down to the beach from the resort aside from taking a car. The beach was unappealing. There was a lot of sargassum and barriers to help keep it from shore (I get this is nature). Also we were told by security at the beach bar that it was closed permanently. Also the pool at the beach bar is for residents only. Not a problem for us since we rented a car and beach hopped. The best part of our stay was the power snorkeling with sea turtles. This excursion does NOT pickup from this hotel. Despite some of the negatives we enjoyed our stay.

A perfect stay for our honeymoon that we will always remember. Ocean suite was spacious, clean and peaceful, service across the whole hotel was wonderful, we loved the complimentary amenities and food and drinks were superb everyday!

6/10 Overall – Beautiful Beach, But Many Disappointments The best part of Cocos Hotel Antigua is without a doubt the beach. It is one of the most beautiful beaches we have ever experienced—crystal clear blue water, calm conditions, and absolutely breathtaking views. Unfortunately, the resort itself did not live up to the beauty of the beach. Service was inconsistent during breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Our server kept changing throughout meals, which resulted in multiple mistakes with our orders. The Wi-Fi was extremely unreliable, and on our final night the entire resort lost internet access. Since there are no phones in the rooms, we had to leave our room and walk to the front desk for updates. The rooms also do not have televisions, so when the Wi-Fi went down there was very little to do. Other disappointments included no room service (and a $20 charge when we requested it), no buffet option, limited dining choices, no beachside food or drink service, and no gym on the property. We had to walk about 20 minutes to another gym and pay $80 for the week. There is also no coffee shop, bakery, or ice cream option on the resort. Evening entertainment is limited to live music from around 8:30–10:30 p.m., followed by a very quiet atmosphere. Cocos Hotel is a great choice if your main priority is a stunning beach and a peaceful, relaxing getaway. However, if you are looking for strong service, more amenities, activities, and entertainment, this resort may not be the best fit.

Me and my wife went for her birthday they set up something for her birthday was beautiful. I appreciate everything. The staff did. They treat us like Kings and Queens and I will be back thank y’all for everything.

Everything was great at the CocoBay. The one thing I would change would to be offer sodas or juices to purchase in gift shop so that guests can keep them in their rooms for after hrs use.
