Remote property with amazing rooms all of which have plunge pools. Everyone so friendly. Food excellent and is all ordered from menu so no buffet. Excellent bbq on a Wednesday. We did hire a car for a week to see the most amazing island. We were here for our honeymoon.

The Escape Resort is the perfect getaway for the couple whose primary purpose is rest and relaxation. Very peaceful with a nice bay backdrop. The room was adequate and the plunge pool was great. Be mindful that traversing from the Resort via taxi will be costly as the area feels far from everything. My recommendation is to rent a car if you want to explore. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. The food selection was very basic especially at breakfast time. I would recommended more variety at every serving time. I must add that the Caribbean BBQ night was my favorite. Overall 8/10 for value for money

The name of the resort says it all, it's truly an escape. If you're looking to disconnect, relax, and do absolutely nothing while enjoying beautiful views, this is the perfect place. The scenery is stunning, the food is excellent, and the staff are incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive. That said, if you're looking for a resort with lots of activities or amenities that are easily accessible on-site, this may not be the best fit. This resort is more about peace, tranquility, and unwinding than constant entertainment. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway.

The property is kept clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The food is not a buffet all inclusive. The food is restaurant style where you have to make a time slot for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food was ok but if there is something on the menu you want to try please reserve certain items because they run out by 8pm dinner slot. The individual room pools are amazing. The one thing that made it not fun was the beach they provide a shuttle too was not a beach I would call it a lagoon. It would have been better if they provided a shuttle to Half Moon Bay just bring your towels because all the beach chairs were stacked up and no one there to help. If you decide to stay at the hotel rent a car and explore the many bay/beaches on the island. The furtherest beach maybe 50 min drive (Dickerson - the best beach we visited).

Overall really enjoyed our 7 night stay. Staff were friendly and helpful at all times. Rooms were clean and well maintained, plunge pool was the center piece and did not disappoint. The shower heads were awful with no water pressure. Dining options are extremely limited but that the trade off when you go ultra private like this resort. Our trip was during shoulder season so most everything was minimally maintained, wasn’t an issue for us.

The hotel itself was ok, the staff was excellent, the seclusion was perfect and the view from your room is peaceful. However I strongly suggest to rent a car as it is easily 30 to 40 mins away from any excursion and paying a taxi daily will become extremely expensive. The food was ok, we enjoyed their BBQ buffet night(the fish and spinach rice) and their breakfasts. They should really consider offering laundry services to the guests, going to the beautiful beaches or excursions daily along with following the dress code for dinner at the hotel makes for alot of clothing to be brought if you cannot have it washed. Otherwise we enjoyed ourselves on the beautiful island of Antigua. Antigua nice!

The room was very inviting. They placed a welcome sign made of straw on the bed when we arrived, that was very nice. The air condition unit worked very well as the weather was hot outside and it made us feel very relaxed inside.The room had ample supply of towels and tioletries.I love the plunge pool in the room, very nice and secluded. The staff at the front desk were very accomodating.Apart from dealing with internal concerns They assisted us with outside excursions such as sightseeing tour, party at Shirley Heights and a visit to the capital St Johns to seesight abd shop. The ladies and gentlemen that serve the meals, especially Maxine were very nice and willing to accomodate your dietary needs. For the 4 nights they attended to us well, giving us ample food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The bar also serve beer and hard liquor as requested The bar needs to serve more local beer as they stated that they only have Carib. Another flaw is the lack of nightly entertainment and daily activities for couples ,a suggestion maybe some sporting activities and games night.

Everything about this stay was outstanding! It was on the quiet side of the island, so very little disturbance. It was a little out of the way, but there were plenty of opportunities for excursions and activities off site, including beach shuttles and BBQ events. The rooms were exceptional, especially the plunge pool which my wife loved! We were lucky enough to get an upgrade to a bay view room, but honestly, I don't think it would have mattered. Great beds, layout and nicely secluded. The facilities were amazing! Menus daily changing, specials at the bar, friendly, helpful staff, well maintained grounds Honestly, there is pretty much nothing I can fault with any of our experience!
