Key code entry gives more flexibility as to arrival times, which suited us as we were spending the day and having dinner with friends so didn’t arrive till late. Brilliant one night break, will return without a doubt, and have already recommended to friends.”

“The guest house is in a lovely location, quite rural, but with a good size town within 10min drive. The property is clean and welcoming. The host is easy to deal with and very helpful. The double room was bright ans spacious. The ensuite had a powerful shower.”

“A nice welcome on arrival and the room was very clean and warm. Complimentary tea, coffee and milk. A mini fridge in the room to keep water etc cool. The shower was good and also immaculate. Very quiet and a lovely place to stay ”

“Stayed here a few time and always found the owner friendly polite and helpful ,doesn't do evening meals but you just walk to the quay and it takes 3minutes and you have the restaurants pubs. The breakfasts are large you would not starve . Definitely recommend ”

“The George Inn was an excellent choice for our first night in England, due to its proximity to Stonehenge and the reasonable cost. All staff were attentive and helpful. We enjoyed a late afternoon walk on the country lanes of Middle Wallop. I want to mention a few things that did not bother us but may matter to other potential guests: - Room ("the family room"): because it was directly above the pub, we could hear music clearly through the floor until the pub closed.
