Lovely place to stay in the New Forest. Large room with very comfortable bed. Ate in the Bistro in the evening. Service & food excellent, as was the breakfast this morning. All cooked to irder and served piping hot. Thoroughly recommend.

Nicely renovated! I really liked the new carpet through out and the nice new bathroom. My room had recently been repainted and was very spacious. I had a nice TV and good double glazed windows. I had no noises in the night and very friendly management. I liked the breakfast too, fresh fruit! I find it hard to find fresh fruit when I travel, and the addition of great pastries, jam and cereals was nice.

Nice place for a short stay

Very nice bed and breakfast. Bed really comfortable and breakfast lovely especially the full english. Room very small so when bar not open we had to take our drinks to our room and had to sit on the bed as only one small wooden chair to sit on. Rooms seemed very clean and hosts were very welcoming and easy to chat to. unfortunately toilet seat was wobbly, no where to hang towels, heated towel radiator didnt work. I would not recommend staying on a Sunday or Monday as bar/restaurant not open and no atmosphere. But other than that would recommend a short stay.

Greeted in a unprofessional manner re hosts dress attire then found the toilet seat was loose. Booked for 7.30pm dinner but was greeted by male host not too be late as we were the only guests eating in the dining room so they wanted to finish up asap. Then was watched as wanted our food order quickly (re above) then was hovered over by the host commenting "How are we doing" whilst we were still waiting then have you finished. The steak however was very good however a bit more relaxed time to have eaten it would have been pleasant and also to have been asked if we wanted a sweet but then that would delayed then to closer up. Then when we went to relax in the empty bar lounge was told by the host that we could have 1 drink as the bar as would be closing at 9-9.15pm so as this was at 8.40pm didn't feel at all welcomed or relaxed. The surrounding garden was very run down in poor repair so we will certainly not be returning again.

Had a lovely stay here. Very good value for money. The room was very clean and warm and a good size, and was very comfortable for my 2 night stay. The breakfasts were delicious. Would stay again if I needed to stay in the area.

Great little find

Great stay. Lovely room, clean and comfortable. Very friendly owner. We wished we had stayed Tuesday and Wednesday instead of the Monday so that we could have eaten in the restaurant both nights - the food was delicious. The continental breakfast was also amazing - massive choice to suit all tastes.

Relaxing hotel.

Ideally placed for the New Forest, Southampton and Bournemouth, we stayed 1 night while visiting the New Forest. We were made to feel welcome, which instantly made us relaxed. The room was clean, well decorated, the bed was comfortable. The bed linen and towels felt luxurious. The weekend breakfast was excellent, we started with fresh fruit and yoghurt (cereals were also on offer) then had a full English which was cooked to perfection using good quality ingredients.

As a single fe.ale staying away for work, im always worried booking rooms. I was anxious as i turned up to the property as it was in a wooded area. These worries qas soon squashed as i was welcomed by the owner toni. The owners where lovely and showed me to my room. The room was spacious, clean with an amazing view of the front garden. The room had a hairdryer, kettle with tea coffee and hot chocolate. There was also a pack of two biscuits. The continental breakfast in the morning was delicious with a great choice. I highly recommend and will be staying again

Modernes Zimmer, Parken direkt vor der Tür, gute Verkehranbindung (zB Southampton, New Forest NP), unter der Woche kontinentales Frühstücksbuffet mit viel frischem Obst und am Wochenende warmes Frühstück mit unterschiedlichen Wahlmöglichkeiten, Restaurantbetrieb zum Mittag und Abend, Essen sehr gut!
