“Room was ok arms of chairs worn away, bed was hard but fairly comfortable the furniture what the TV was sitting on was broken inside apart from that was acceptable as I stayed one night that was enough evening meal was good and breakfast was excellent surprisingly lots of choice so in all QA bit rough around the edges but ok”

“This is a very large and quite old hotel. The room we stayed in was large and pleasant but the hotel's plumbing was loud enough to disturb our sleep, as were the footsteps of the people in the room above. The WiFi in the room was inadequate and kept cutting out. I had to use the public areas to work. We booked the hotel because it had an outdoor pool, only to find that it was out-of-service during our stay. Whilst this might have been unavoidable, the staff weren't particularly concerned about...

“The woman who greeted us, was so lovely!!! Made us feel welcomed and at home and would recommend to anyone visiting.”

“No onsite parking as you have to park in the 4 level parade behind the Premier inn . The lift doesn’t work to get to street level . I have mobility issues and the 8 flights of stairs ? Had to walk down the ramp with suitcase in tow hoping you don’t slip or get stuck by a car . Asked the girl at reception, she’s like , well some times it works and sometimes it doesn’t! Big help . Complained the following day-and still not working asked the guy at reception to call the city council and complain....

“Very basic rooms it was stifling but could open the window a bit and they did provide a fan breakfast was not great the cooked was microwaved , it was like the room basic ok for a one night stopover also very noisy throughout the night with traffic”

“Staff were lovely, location is gorgeous, rooms very outdated and in general the flow of constant tour buses full of elderly travelers made me feel like I was staying in a nursing home. Staff very rigid about breakfast timing and use of breakfast room not alllowed after 10:00am so if you are not an early riser, take note. Lift was also broken for full 4 nights of our stay and we were on the 3rd floor.”
