I had a really excellent experience staying here. The staff were really helpful and friendly, the room was large and clean, the price was very reasonable. Breakfast was good - the scrambled eggs were amazing, but the sausages could have been better (though I've had far worse). The lounge area is very good, spacious and comfortable - perfect for a casual meeting.

This is our 2nd trip to Exeter for a University visit. On both occasions we stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott and both tumes we have been impressed by the friendy, helpful staff and how clean and well maintained the hotel is kept. At breakfast there is a fantastic choice of cereal, pastries, fruit. cold meats and a cooked breakfast.

This is the best hotel that we have stayed in and around Exeter. We come quite often because our daughter is at university. The only downside is it doesn’t have a pool but fortunately I had a day pass to David Lloyd which is next door which has a swimming pool. Highly recommend Pros - Great rooms, lovely breakfast. Staff were great. Room was spotless. Cons - The shower toiletries had run out but I had bought my own so it didn’t matter. The towels are quite small but there was plenty of them. All in all a very good stay.

After a long day of travelling i found the Courtyard to be the best of hotels to rest up and have a meal. The staff were great and so polite. Room quality was nice and spacious. High quality shower room. **Note to all. Remember to switch the power on just inside your room door. The taps are electric and won't work without the power on. That small detail caught me out !!! But other than that i would highly recommend this hotel for a stay. I will be staying there again.
