“Good location.. bedroom was tired and in need of some improvements.. bed base was torn and tatty,.. there were 3 windows, only one was clear, the glass in the other two were in need of replacement as you were unable to see out of them and didn't let light through.. The restaurant was slightly inadequate for the large volume of guests. Breakfast offered a good choice, unfortunately I wouldn't say that the evening food was that nice for the cost.. “The room was spacious, clean and well maintained. The staff were helpful and pleasant especially the lovely Scottish lady on reception. We didn’t have the breakfast or have any food from the bar as they sell peanuts which my daughter has an anaphylactic allergy to. This meant we had to go out for food. The pool was a great feature but had limited hours for children so wasn’t used as much as we had anticipated. They had a lot of kids swimming lessons on at the same time which again we hadn’t...

“Room wasn’t cleaned so also no tea/coffee/water replaced. Called reception and replacements promised within 10 minutes - never arrived after an hour so had to re request. No clean cups or spoons. Two power cuts first night with no answer to an Expedia message. Hotel was extremely dated and it is never a 4 star room and the receptionists all lacked basic pleasantries/communication skills. Much prefer Llechwen Hall stays. Golf course looked nice though”
