“We got to this property by chance. What a fun surprise. It is an old but very well kept inn. It has many beautiful hikes around. It is in the middle of nowhere. And that makes it even more fantastic. ”

“Habitación limpia y personal amable”

“Room was tired and bed uncomfortable. Car park had no lighting which made it difficult to navigate in the dark.”

“The Duke of Edinburgh hotel was a gem. I don’t know the history of the building but it’s older; that doesn't mean bad. They have done a great job of renovating the rooms, or at least ours was. It was one of the best rooms we’ve had on our trip. We also had dinner and a breakfast while there and the food at the restaurant/pub was excellent. It’s a short walk from the train station and I would recommend it for your stay.”

“Booked this last minute as a 1st stop on a trip around the lakes area, My goodness, I know they say you get what you pay for, but you don't expect to see insects crawling in your bed or on the bedside tables!!!. Asked to be moved immediately which in fairness they did move us to a room on the 1st floor which was adequate but still dirty carpet, tired looking etc Whole place needs a refurb, which I doubt Best Western will be doing anytime soon, and as such the price reflects the condition of...

“There was no staff , can’t able to contact to manger , it was difficult to enter the property, there was no guidance”

“The property has real presence and looks stunning. Its decor is in keeping with the property and looks a bit worn but makes it feel loved. Breakfast was good but we had to wait both days for the food to be topped up as there’s only one waiter trying to do everything. The room was large and bed was comfy. The bathroom was not good no water pressure so water came out very slowly and not very hot. Shower unit was very noisy and no heating for such a big bathroom apart from a towel rail so it was...

“Buena propiedad pero mala mantenida. Alfombra rota en las escaleras, baño que no andaba bien, poco cuidado. Buen desayuno. Hermoso ambiente. Hermoso parque.”

“Lovely home from home feeling when you walk into The Regal, great location and good value for money!”

“Met all our expectations, 10 years after our last stay. Perfect start to a long drive!”

“This was our first time staying at an independent hotel and we were welcomed by a polite staff member. However, the conditions of the room and amenities of it could’ve been better such as the shower, the floor and walls. The shower was mouldy, the floor was very squeaky for both our room and neighbours making the noise doubled and the walls had no purpose whatsoever as they were so thin , hearing neighbours frequently. Our breakfast on the last morning wasn’t served to us and we got told to go...

“Muy buena limpieza, habitación cómoda con vistas a la plaza Dalton, contaba con varias cositas de servicio de habitaciones como chocolate, agua y galletas. Totalmente recomendable”

“Well located and great service. Incredible surroundings ”
