“I understand why the reviews aren’t higher. There’s no elevator (lift) or air conditioning, as the hotel has been kept in its original heritage style. The bed isn’t the most comfortable either, but everything is acceptable for a budget hotel. The English breakfast was excellent, and the garden is beautiful. The hotel is also conveniently located, with bus stops and shopping just a short walk away.”

“The pub area is great with a very large garden and FREE car park. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was very good but if you fancy something else, there is an Italian next door or a couple of other restaurants a 2 minute walk. Room 2 was dated but very clean and large.
