We booked a delux room which was listed as sleeping 6 to accommodate us - 2 adults & 2 teenage girls. We had to request an additional bed to be brought to the room, as 2 sharing the sofa bed was unfeasible. We were told the arrangement for 6 would 3 in the king bed (!!) 2 sharing a sofa bed, and one on a roll in single bed. Reception staff were lovely and very helpful in getting the extra bed, but it didn’t arrive until 22:30 that night. Don’t bother with breakfast option - we found it chaotic with lots of items running out and terrible coffee. Lots of better breakfast spots minutes of the hotel. Great location, loved the sea view.

Great stay! Really enjoyed our stay in Brighton last weekend. This was a very pleasant hotel, perfectly situated for the beach and other Brighton attractions. We received a friendly welcome, the room was pleasant and the breakfast was great. There are some areas of the hotel that could do with a little TLC and modernisation, but nothing too bad. Would definitely stay here again.

A lovely hotel,nice clean rooms and very friendly staff,the only criticism is the cleaning regime for the front terrace,the glass ballustrade had obviously not be cleaned in a while and the majority of the tables and chairs were left in a disgusting state and when we looked the following morning they were still the same except for the empty glasses had been removed so a member of staff was aware of the state of the table tops especially.whilst sitting outside a child had knocked a cup of coffee over and when they notified a member of staff he said it's ok it will soon dry up in the sun!bearing in mind this is the first thing you see before you enter I don't think is very good.

We parked in the basement which was amazing in the heatwave! Hotel was clean and although it is dated it is tidy and room was clean. Air conditioning was not working but the room was cool and an effective fan was placed for us. Bed was really comfortable and hotel was great location.

I've been going to Brighton for over 30 years and stayed at many places (the Grand, Metropole (now the Doubletree), Old Ship, many a B & B, the old Thistle, etc.; but I think that this humble little Holiday Inn Seafront is my favorite. Very reasonable price for a seaview room, and you can also get breakfast and dinner included and the food is great. Wonderful veggie sausages at breakfast, and the pastry chef makes a fantastic vegan raspberry croissant. The terrace is especially nice in pleasant weather--you can sip cocoa there in the morning and enjoy the sun glittering off the English Channel. Easy walking distance to shopping, the Lanes, buses, and the train station. All the staff are pleasant and friendly: on this trip, Rowan, Andy, and Fiona were especially helpful. I've stayed there my last 3 trips to Brighton. I hope I'll be able to go back again soon.
