“The room was a decent size and very clean. We didn't actually end up staying the night because we stayed over at the house party, but we used the room to get ready and freshen up in the morning before checking out. The shared facilities, such as the bathroom and kitchen, were also clean and tidy.”

“Lovely old pub in beautiful location, excellent breakfast, with home made preserves. The dinner menu looked very exciting but sadly we were dining elsewhere. Staff most helpful, carrying luggage and providing information. There is an onsite brewery!
The night was extremely hot, so difficult to sleep, but very comfortable bed and well equipped room. The bathroom could have done with refurbishment to the tiling and taps, but was acceptable. There is a large parking area, by the river garden.”

“Loved the position of the rooms, overlooking the hills. No stairs. Large facilities. Offload parking, no charge. Lovely staff, nothing too much trouble Ate at the pub, good selection of pub food and drinks. Would have liked complimentary shower gel.”

“Property was convenient for Stratford.
Bed very comfortable. A great selection of quality toiletries.
Owners were welcoming and advised us of recommended places to eat prior to our visit. As we were staying on a Saturday evening we were able to book a table in advance at what was a very popular venue.
Would definitely stay when in the area in the future.”
