“We drove our car there at night, the road was wiggly & dark ( no lights other than the car lights). For us it was a little nerve racking. The view was pretty in the morning. The room looked nice and clean, but the fridge was uncleaned, Staff were nice and welcoming. In the room description it said the mattress is Tempur-pedic, but that definitely wasn’t!. In the room descriptions it said we would get a bottle of sparkling wine, but we didn’t get that either. I opened the drawers under the bed...

“When booked the hotel was described as a “resort” which is why we planned the detour to its location. Upon arrival there was no staff to welcome us - a text to the number on the locked door was quickly returned with a lock box code to grant us enterance to our studio apartment. The advertised laundry facilities were not available for use, the swimming pool while open was in great need of maintenance or filtering ( both) and as such was not an attractive option for the afternoon. “A beautiful place nestled in the mountains, set in a charming, beautifully restored village. Its location is also ideal, roughly halfway between Elafonissi Beach and the Balos Lagoon, making it a great base for exploring both. Our room was a wonderful cottage, full of character and very comfortable. The staff were exceptionally kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. The restaurant was another highlight, serving truly outstanding dishes. A wonderful experience overall.”

“Esperienza negativissima, avevamo pagato in anticipo la struttura se no saremmo andati via. Era sporchissimo, abbiamo dovuto pulire tutto l appartamento, dal bagno alla cucina il pavimento. Meglio non entrare nello specifico.”

“Chose this spot as a place to stay overnight before visiting Elafonisi Beach. Nice suite for a little mountain getaway. Met some nice people and the host was very friendly. No amenities in the village so you need to drive about 5 minutes to get some food. Some good places to eat nearby. The only complaint would be some noisy neighbours who were up until 2am stomping around doing who knows what. Other than that we had a pleasant stay.”
