“Staff were excellent and food very good, lovely atmosphere, needing a lot of tlc in process of changing owners. Quiet area although another small town about 5 miles away with more facilities. Parking beside property on A68. Morpeth and Hexham nearby.”

“Don’t bring a cat - there’s no room to swing it in the bedroom. And the TV was comically small. That being said, it was clean and tidy and the food excellent. Staff also very friendly.”

“The bedroom was excellent,clean well furnished and appointed. The only small criticism was that there was a lack of comfortable space away from the restaurant space and bar but as we were only staying one night this didn’t matter too much. The breakfast was excellent and the bar food,whereas it was well prepared, was a little limited in choice. We would however stay again.”
